Cookie Policy
Which cookies our websites use, why, and how you manage your choice
This is an English translation of the Dutch “Cookiebeleid”. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
Beyond Ordering BV, with its registered office at Brusselsesteenweg 255, 9090 Melle, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0760.305.893 (hereinafter “Beyond Ordering”, “we”), uses cookies on its websites. This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which types we use and how you give, change or withdraw your consent. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Article 1: What are cookies?
1.1 Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit it. They make sure, for example, that the website works properly, that your preferences are remembered or that we can measure how the website is used.
1.2 This cookie policy also applies to similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, pixels and third-party scripts. Where we write “cookies”, we also mean these technologies.
1.3 This cookie policy applies to our websites, including beyondordering.com, and to the ordering, payment and deposit platform used by visitors at events. On that platform too, we ask for your consent via a cookie banner for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Article 2: Which types of cookies do we use?
2.1 We divide cookies into four categories:
- Necessary cookies make the website work and keep it secure, for example by remembering your cookie choice. No consent is required for these.
- Preference cookies remember your choices, such as the language in which you view the website.
- Statistics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, so that we can improve it. Where possible, we use this information in anonymised or aggregated form.
- Marketing cookies are used to measure the effect of our campaigns and to show advertisements that are relevant to you.
2.2 We only place preference, statistics and marketing cookies if you consent to them. Without consent, they are blocked.
Article 3: Managing your consent
3.1 On your first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you want to allow cookies. You choose per category, or you refuse all cookies that are not necessary. Refusing is as easy as accepting.
3.2 You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or via the overview in Article 7. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the use of cookies before that withdrawal.
3.3 We store your choice and ask again after at most 12 months.
3.4 You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you also block necessary cookies, the website may not work properly.
Article 4: Third-party cookies
4.1 Some cookies are placed by third parties, such as providers of analytics or advertising services. These third parties may process data outside the European Economic Area. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, as described in Article 7 of our Privacy Policy. The third parties that place cookies are listed in the overview in Article 7.
4.2 We use Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S) to request and record your consent and to keep the overview of cookies up to date.
Article 5: Contact
5.1 If you have questions about this cookie policy or about the processing of your personal data, please e-mail info@beyondordering.com. You can read more about your rights and how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy.
Article 6: Changes
6.1 We may amend this cookie policy, for example when we start using new cookies. The current version is always available on this page.
